Both number 1 seeds advanced to the Super Bowl for the first time since 1993 and Super Bowl XLIV should pan out to be a phenomenal game with tons of scoring. The New Orleans Saints feature an explosive offense led by star quarterback Drew Brees who does a great job of getting different people involved but their 25th ranked defense is their achilles heel and what I foresee will eventually lose them the game. The Indianapolis Colts finished with the best record in the regular season and have arguably the greatest quarterback in NFL history. 4-Time MVP Peyton Manning is like a General on the field and can have that offense score in a hurry. The Colts have been here before as they won the Super Bowl three years ago with much of the same team still intact. The Colts experience in addition to Peyton Manning’s poise and unbelievable ability to lead his team in pressure situations will help the Colts prevail.

Prediction: Colts 38 Saints 31. To hear more about the game, including who President Obama is rooting for, click more. (more…)

It seems like yesterday brought nothing but disappointing news. Haiti is still bring ravaged by aftershocks, Democrats lost a crucial senate seat and on top of all that, Bible-thumping Tim Tebow announced he will be appearing in a Super Bowl ad endorsing Focus on the Family, a non-profit Christian group that opposes abortion in every single case (rape included). Regardless of your stance on abortion, I’m already sick of attending Sunday School every time I see Tebow’s eye black and don’t care to see precious SB ad space wasted on pushing some religious agenda. But Tebow is far from the first case of celebrity endorsement gone wrong, hit the jump to see a couple others…
