Jason Schwartzman is a trip in this video campaigning the newest application designed specifically for the iPad. The comedian shows off all the features of The New Yorker application while being absolutely ridiculous the entire video. Love the upward face swipe and the elephant ring tone.

This is clearly just a concept image, and Apple has never publicly discussed an intention of stepping into the watch industry.  There is not even a description of what this thing may be able to do, but just off the top of my head, here’s a few ideas: Locate your iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch with the touch of a button, weather descriptions, limited internet and bluetooth capabilities, and the dankest alarm clock known to man.  If you check out the pictures below closely, you can see that the bottom flap underneath the face flips open to a USB connection which could fit any iPod, iPhone, or iPad, which would enable someone to transfer info from any or all of the devices.  These are all just guesstimates, but if this thing were to actually come out, I would cop for sureee.  See below for more concept pics. Got $190,000 laying around?  What better way to spend it then on this solid gold and diamond studded iPad that was unveiled yesterday.  The apple logo consists of 53 flawless diamonds.  Only 10 of these bad boys have been made by the designer Stuart Hughes, and I’m sure they’ll be selling like hot cakes.  Actually, probably not.  This is the same homie who designed a diamond studded blackberry bold.  Hit the jump to see a pic of that really necessary piece of technology. YouTube, the world’s largest streaming video site is about to start renting movies, an effort by owners Google Inc. to compete with Apple, Netflix, Amazon, and Hulu. In January, YouTube began to offer five movies in a partnership with the Sundance Film Festival. While YouTube currently offers mostly documentaries, Bollywood stuff and indie films, they are beginning to rent some mainstream movies, a sign of serious expansion and good things to come in the future. The movies currently cost between $1-$4 and payment is convenient using Google Checkout. To see the list of movies offered and get to the YouTube store, hit the jump. (more…)

I do agree with TheRealJawn in that the Apple iPad looks awesome and I would love to own one but many people especially women are skeptical over the name “iPad.” Give this hilarious video a watch.

Apple introduced its “magical” new product today in San Francisco… and it is damn sexy.  The iPad is “so much more intimate than a laptop, and so much more capable than a smart phone,” explained Steve Jobs, Apple‘s CEO.  One point many skeptics argued over before the unveiling was the price. Rumors spiraled that it would cost around $1,000, but Jobs made it clear during his presentation that he wanted to get it in as many hands as possible.  With a beginning price tag of $499, he did just that.  The iPad looks like an iPhone on steroids, with a 9.7 inch tall touch screen, and even features the famous app store which enables users to download and use over 140,000 applications.  But, it also is used to play games, watch movies, browse the web, e-mail, and read books.  iBooks is a brand new application designed specifically for the iPad, which enables users to download books from the iBook Store and then read them immediately.  For such a slim (0.5 inches thick) and light (1.5 lbs) device, this thing does almost too many things.  See below for more
