This documentary is fucking awesome. Paul Rojanathara and Davis Johnson break down what it means to be an influencer and how trends and creativity become contagious today in music, entertainment, sports and fashion. The only part they were missing was an OTNS shout out. Clearly the entire video is focused on New York City. The film provides some fascinating insight on corporate control, brands going mainstream, consumer importance and how the wide gamut of social networks impacts everybody. When it is all said and done, the documentary was extremely well shot. With the knowledge and opinions brought forth by the people speaking, this documentary really shows that trends are constantly evolving and will never die.

The Lebron James, More Than A Game documentary was released today on DVD. The documentary chronicles the maturation and success of Lebron and his high school teammates, highlighting their loyalty, friendship and devotion to one another while under intense public scrutiny. The movie was not a box office hit as it was only in theaters for less than two months and failed to gross $1 Million in the US, however as a basketball fan I thoroughly enjoyed it and recommend it.

In a rap game saturated with auto-tune and braggadocious lyrics, it’s beyond refreshing to get introduced to Theophilus London. This guy is so ahead of his time his parents haven’t met yet he doesn’t even have a Wikipedia page yet. If you already have heard about the Brooklynite trip-hop/neo-soul artist then you’ll enjoy this doc. If you need some convincing read more for key tracks and download links. I’m telling you guys, this dude is chalk-full of talent and is for sure the future of hip-hop…
