This documentary is fucking awesome. Paul Rojanathara and Davis Johnson break down what it means to be an influencer and how trends and creativity become contagious today in music, entertainment, sports and fashion. The only part they were missing was an OTNS shout out. Clearly the entire video is focused on New York City. The film provides some fascinating insight on corporate control, brands going mainstream, consumer importance and how the wide gamut of social networks impacts everybody. When it is all said and done, the documentary was extremely well shot. With the knowledge and opinions brought forth by the people speaking, this documentary really shows that trends are constantly evolving and will never die.

Heroism is usually defined with words like: bravery, courage, strength, and resiliency, but I’m gonna go out on a limb here and say that the ability to drink 764 ounces of Miller Light on a flight from Boston to L.A. makes you a true American hero.  That is a feat that ex-Yankee Wade Boggs was rumored to have defeated.  And supposedly, this was no isolated incident.  Former teammate Jeff Nelson was quoted as saying: “I’ve never seen anyone drink as much beer as [Boggs] did in my life…I’d say, on a typical road trip, east coast to west coast, say a road game to Seattle……Wade would drink anywhere between 50 and 60 beers…I know how crazy that sounds, and I wouldn’t believe it myself unless I saw him do it…..numerous times. And he drank nothing but Miller Lite.”  Hit the jump for more:
