More Proof Of Arcade Fire’s Mainstream Appeal 04/11/2010

When RealJawn took me to see Arcade Fire in Minneapolis back in 2008, it seemed like the group was still unknown. Or at least they were unknown to me. Needless to say, the show was one of the most awe-inspiring, incredible performances of live music I’ve ever been lucky enough to witness. Over the next two years, Arcade Fire would increasingly become a twenty-something’s household name. The Canadian indie rockers’ music continue to be incorporated in ads, movie trailers and collaborations with mainstream artists. The latest of which is an upcoming short film made by Spike Jonze and, based on the last Jonze short we saw, it should be interesting.
