While I should probably studying for the midterm I have tomorrow (which I don’t give a frrrrrrruck about), I decided to bless y’all with a fresh mixtape to get you through Wednesday instead. Got some new music, some great remixes (and I’m usually not a fan of remixes) and of course, a classic. Flip to the b-side for streams and some muthafuckin’ downloads…

Little Brother – Curtain Call

-This one is a classic joint from the rap trio of: Phonte, Big Pooh and of course 9th Wonder.

Broken Bells – The High Road

-The first single from producer Danger Mouse, and it’s real fly. Enjoy this gem.

Young Chris ft. J. Cole – Still The Hottest

– We’re not completely sure what happened to the other half of Young Gunz, *cough Neef cough*, but Young Chris does his thing on this track. Although, I gotta say J. Cole runs away with the joint, like Usain Bolt status.

Mayer Hawthorne ft. Intuition – Make Her Mine

Grizzly Bear ft. Intuition – Two Weeks

– I’m gonna go ahead and sneak both of these in together. They’re both off Intuition’s latest EP, aptly titled I Ruined These Songs For You. I’ve been waiting for the Grizzly Bear remix to be done properly, since I’ve already heard at least a couple I don’t care for. As for the Mayer Hawthorne track, I’m just feeling the smooth ’70s soul vibe. Very dope, indeed.

Drake – Over

– Okay, okay, I know I posted this just a few days ago. But here’s the thing: I’ve had a couple days with this track in rotation on my iPod and I can’t stop listening to it now. This shit is truly dope, and I’m definitely more excited for Thank Me Later than I was a week ago. If you didn’t get it the first time around, grab it now.

Bonus Track: Notorious B.I.G. – Let Me Get Down

– Yesterday marked the 13th anniversary of BIG’s murder. In honor of the late great, enjoy this classic track.
