The concept of the Black Cab Sessions is simple:  Shove a talented artist of any genre in the back of a London cab, and have the driver whip around the city while someone films them doing a take of one of their songs.  In essence, the idea is to strip away any outside distractions and get straight to the core of the music.  It’s fucking genius.  Some groups who have produced some great Sessions are: My Morning Jacket, The National, “Young Folks” singers Peter Bjorn and John, Grizzly Bear, The Cool KidsBon Iver, Beach House, Fleet Foxes, and many more.  Check out some famous sessions by clicking here
